The Gnostic Book of Changes was compiled by James DeKorne and distributed freely on his website for decades. It reads the I Ching as a symbolic key to the Work of individuation, setting nine English renderings of each text side by side with commentary drawn from analytical psychology and the Western mystery tradition.

This edition was produced from DeKorne's original Word documents. The quoted translations (Legge, Wilhelm/Baynes, Blofeld, Liu, Ritsema/Karcher, Shaughnessy, Cleary, Wu) remain the work of their translators; this site is a personal, non-commercial study edition.

A companion command-line tool, eching, casts hexagrams using the authentic yarrow-stalk probabilities (moving yin 1/16, static yang 5/16, static yin 7/16, moving yang 3/16) and prints these same texts.
